The flight across the North Sea became joined through a US KC-135 Stratotanker from the 100th Air Refueling Wing primarily based at RAF Mildenhall, a KDC-10 from the 334th Squadron, based mostly at RNLAF Eindhoven AFB and an RAF Voyager from RAF Brize Norton.
