The moon out here in Hawaii can really light things up. I love some of the color I capture and I’m excited about future long exposure shooting here on the Island of Hawaii.
It’s always good to see an old friend safe, sound and happy. That pretty much sums it up for Charlene,. She is a great inspiration for us all. I enjoyed the private tour very much! Expect to see even more photos from Volcano!

Ha’ena Beach is one of the most scenic and least-visited beaches in lower Puna. It is beautiful white sand coastline mostly dominated by harsh lava cliffs. The little cove is also known as Shipman’s Beach. The W.H. Shipman Ltd. owns the land directly behind it.
